I like the "under construction" motif here, especially the floaty arm with the roller brush.
Might the big arm and its particular grip upon the big red thing be a subtle nod to the works of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth? It certainly reminds me of the manner in which he often had big arms reaching up to delicately manipulate gear-shift levers and whatnot...
